Accomplishments/Company Background Information: Established in 1933 by Joe, Mike, and John Latuff. Current owners Pete and Mike Latuff purchased the business in 1973. Currently, the 4th generation Will and Robert Latuff are involved in the business. Located at 880 University Avenue since 1933 and growing from a 4,000 square foot facility to a 16,000 square foot facility today. Latuff Brothers Auto Body has a tradition of innovation. In the 1970’s Latuff Brothers developed and patented a widely used frame straightening machine. In the 21st century, Latuff Brothers pioneered the use of waterborne paint. This along with investing in energy saving paint booth technology, energy efficient lighting, recycling programs, and a paperless management system earned the shop a prestigious MN Governor’s Award for Waste and Pollution Prevention. Latuff Brothers has been recognized by several companies as a valuable business partner with awards including: Liberty Mutual’s Shop of the Year, American Family’s CRP Tier One Program, State Farm’s Select Service Program, St. Paul Chamber of Commerce Deubener Award for excellence in business, DuPont’s Performance Alliance, and I-CAR Gold Certification.
