Other Organizations you are currently involved in:
Board member: Youth Express,
Finance Committee member: Family Tree Clinic,
Midway Chamber Board member
Background Information: I worked briefly as a bank teller after college then spent 20 years of my banking career at Liberty State Bank. Joined Anchor Bank in 2004 and am so happy to be working with a great community bank in our wonderful Midway neighborhood.
What does Membership in the Chamber mean to you?: The Midway Chamber is such a supportive group of businesses and individuals that really "get" the networking, the referral sources and mutual support that an active chamber can provide. The Midway Chamber is a strong, collective voice for the business community and a wonderful resource for businesses large and small. I think your annual Chamber membership is some of the best money you can spend these days.
Good Chamber memories are past gala's - such fun evenings spent with co-workers and chamber friends. Anchor Bank purchased an evening at a Saint's game this year on the USS Porkchop out in left field and our crew from work had such fun heckling the other team in the outfield. The golf tournament is always a great way to treat customers and business prospects to a wonderful afternoon of golf and socializing. A good chamber connection story: Anchor Bank's grand opening for our Snelling & 94 office was in June 2007. As we planned for this event we tried to think of some fun entertainment. Quite a few months earlier I sat with some of the Klondike Kate's at a luncheon, enjoyed visiting with them and exchanged business cards. Eric Britt, our president thought it would be great to have'some of the "Katie's" come and entertain at our grand opening. What a great element they added to our event and how much fun our guests and fellow bankers had - all because of a Midway Chamber luncheon.
